In December I experienced my first seizure tachycardia event due to Orthostatic Intolerance. I ended up in the emergency room and they found nothing wrong with me.
When I followed up with the Neurologist he interpreted my emergency room lab work incorrectly and in front of my daughter he was very accusing me that I was drinking. It was humiliating and embarrassing. I later reviewed the labs with another doctor who confirmed that I didn’t have a positive blood alcohol level. I proceeded with changing my medical records which is not an easy task having to deal with hospitals administrators. I have been appealing a denial from my long term disability and the Neurologist still sent my insurance the old medical records stating that I was intoxicated. I lost my appeal for my long term disability this week. Throughout this journey there’s been a sense of peace in my soul. If I want to lash out for the injustice this peace comes over me like a crashing wave.“And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:7 KJV
My first instinct is to let the Neurologist have a piece of my mind maybe even lash out in anger for taking away the opportunity for me to have financial stability.
This is where I have to stop myself and go to my Bible to see how Jesus Christ handled accusations. In Matthew and Mark he said nothing when the chief priests and scribes accused him to Pilate; Matthew 27:12 And when he was accused of the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing. Mark 15:3 And the chief priests accused him of many things: but he answered nothing.
Even though I want to say all kinds of words to this doctor in defense of myself the example I found in searching the scripture was to say nothing and trust God.
Psalm 7 O Lord my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:
2 Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.
3 O Lord my God, If I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands;
4 If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy
5 Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah.
6 Arise, O Lord, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded.
7 So shall the congregation of the people compass thee about: for their sakes therefore return thou on high.
8 The Lord shall judge the people: judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.
9 Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.
10 My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart.
11 God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.
12 If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready.
13 He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors.
14 Behold, he travaileth with iniquity, and hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.
15 He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.
16 His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate.
17 I will praise the Lord according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the Lord most high.
Our defense is God if we are of an upright heart. Upright, Uprightness
"Upright" is the English equivalent most often used for the Hebrew yasar [r;v"y]. Literally, yasar [r;v"y] pertains to that which is vertically erect ( Gen 37:7 ; Exod 36:20 ) or horizontally level or smooth ( Isa 26:7 ). It also means straight ( Isa 40:3 ) or evenly distributed ( 1 Ki 6:35 ). I find this definition ironic and I think ABBA has a great sense of humor! My main struggle lately is with literally staying upright due to Orthostatic Intolerance. So this lesson is on many levels of understanding for me first in my body and then in my heart.
I have been totally honest and forthright in my dealings with this insurance company and doctors. I can trust God who knows my heart to be my defender in this battle of accusations and denials coming at me from every direction. I rest in Christ. The example of Jesus Christ saying nothing has really helped me to understand that we don't have to answer back to the accuser only go to scripture as Christ did when he was tempted as we can read in Matthew chapter 4. Through the faith of Christ I am upright in my heart and literally vertical or upright in my body. He helps me to control my little member my tongue, no way I can in my own strength. “But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.”
James 3:8 KJV This is a short example of Christ Jesus being the example if you are experiencing persecution or plain bullying look to Jesus for how to act, for me its usually the last thing I would think of doing! Praise and Glory to the Most High!
My hope is we search the scriptures to overcome life’s challenges and understand out triumphs we have through the Word made flesh, John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth
Thank you for reading. I hope not matter your situation that you find comfort and peace by the instructions we have been given.

I am just...I am going to try my best to post a short study every week but honestly not sure if I will be able to due to my chronic illnesses.
I am just grateful that I have Jesus Christ to carry me on through this battle. This is a video explaining what it’s like for me when I sit up or do small chores.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me Phil 4:13
I may not be cut out to lead a group right now and that’s okay. Sometimes I think I can do a lot more but the more I sit up my brain stops thinking clearly.
I will give it a try and feel free to let me know if once a week teaching post and then interacting via comments is ok? otherwise I will delete and try again when I have a better control of this dysautonomia.
The only way I am here typing and wanting to reach out to others in the body of Christ is Christ Jesus. The Word has given me a great comfort and has inspired to try to help others who are going through health issues find comfort. We are never alone in this battle! We have the instructions written down for us.
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”
2 Timothy 3:16-17 KJV
Thank you all for joining and I am working on the first short study and God willing will have it posted on Thursday Evening Pacific Standard Time Show more

Living with Chronic Health issues can be very challenging on a daily basis.
The only way that I have been able to find to keep going is through reading the Bible everyday and prayers without ceasing.
I hope to share encouragement and the love of Christ Jesus in this group.
I have found that many dealing with chronic issues have identity’s are rooted in their diseases when in fact our identity is in Christ Jesus.
“Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.”
Galatians 2:16 KJV
